[support] HA and MR are unable to recognize NEMO packet

Thanks for your reply. I believe that I have correctly applied patches as mentioned in HowTO and I noticed that the patches were applied correctly. I applied both patches as follows in mip6-daemon-umip-0.3:

  patch -p1 < mipv6-daemon-umip-0.3-20070613.patch
  patch -p1 < mipv6-daemon-umip-0.3-nepl-20070613.patch

Is it possible that it might be a kernel configuration issue? Because, NEMO HA and MR were listing on port 135 (raw socket) correctly and it seems that kernel doesn't deliver the NEMO packet to the NEMO application (HA or MR). Instead it replies a ICMP (cause 3 - port unreachable). Although I have checked with chkconf_kernel shell script and it reported the configuration is alright.

I used linux-2.6.21.3.tar.gz and patched it with patch-2.6.21.3-mip6.patch

I guess that both HA and MR are behaving in the same way, discarding NEMO packets (BU, BE etc.). From the mail archive, I have noticed that this type of problem occurred previously and resolved by the current patch. But I don't know why it is happening to me :).

Please feel free to let me know if I can do anything further to resolve this issue.

Looking at the HA logs, it seems that your HA does not process
correctly the received BU. It looks like a known bug, that is fixed
in one of the patches included in the Howto. Did you correctly apply
the patch mipv6-daemon-umip-0.3-20070613.patch before applying the
NEPL patch?

This is because the MR is not registered to the HA but sends packets
with Home Address option in it. This will be fixed once your MR
correctly registered to the HA.

Do you have any log messges on the MR for this? Anyway, this may be
due to the previous errors, so let's first try to fix the first problem.
